Remembering a magazine dedicated to commercial aviation I downloaded a podcast from Airway World. Instead of aviation I got this:

As botched internet searches go, that’s not that terribad. ‘Least you didn’t get the wrong results searching for ‘bug catching’ or ‘bears’.

I used to work for an outdoors store called Millets here in the U.K., it was owned by the group, Blacks Outdoor Leisure Group with it’s own stores called Blacks.

If we didn’t have something, we’d recommend them to the Blacks website, which sold more premium brands stock than us.

We always had to make sure they noted down, ‘blacks.co.uk’, as the .com website was something very different. The company, thankfully has bought the .com domain version.

There was a regional sports store that went under and was bought out by a   Dick’s Sporting Goods. In conversation with employees at adjacent store a young woman on her first day piped in with “Dick’s are really big out East. I’m really excited they are coming!”

Instant regret as she realized what it sounded like. E veryone including her manager attempted to keep a straight face long enough to end the conversation in a professional manner. Nobody managed this very well so I paid and left as quickly as possible with my sides hurting.

Never tried variations on their website and have no desire to.

My Volvo got a new CV axle in December and new shocks/struts this Spring, so it’s hurting me too.
